a bit about me... I have been teaching adult yoga classes in Dalby since 2014. Prior to that I was a Primary School Teacher. I taught from Prep through to Year 7, however I spent most of my years as a teacher in grades 5-7. While I loved teaching, I always knew it was not something I would do forever. I always felt that the school environment was not how I wanted to reach and teach kids. I love everything about teaching Yoga to kids- the playfulness and fun, but also the deeper side to it. The chance to use each lesson as a learning experience for the kids, with topics relevant to them, language they can understand and Yoga poses & games to make it interactive and hands on. But my favourite bit would have to be watching them wind down and enter relaxation at the end of class. What an honour to give them tools to last a lifetime.
