An online course delivered over four weeks where you will learn all the elements to create and sustain a safe and enjoyable home yoga practise. 
A regular yoga practise can be truly transformational.

When I did my first Yoga class in 2009, I didn't enjoy it at all.  I was a runner and gym go-er and Yoga felt way too slow and quiet.  But because I had so much going on in my life at the time,
I needed something so, I persevered.

 And I am so glad I did!

Not long into my journey, I discovered Vinyasa Yoga.  This style can be strong and dynamic, but also slow and quiet, the parts I actually LOVE about my practise now.

You might start Yoga to cope with stress (this was me) or for a purely physical reason or to get stronger after an injury.  But no matter what brings you to Yoga, you always get so much more out of it than you ever thought you would.  If you can commit and make time for it (and you only need a small amount, I'll show you), then you can watch Yoga work its magic. 

How good does that sound? 

Everything I share in this course will be authentic.  It will be the yoga I love, techniques from my training and the influence of my favourite teachers. It will be all the basic and essential vinyasa Yoga tools, so that you can create a home practise that could be truly transformational for you. On completion, you will have the confidence you need to practise at home, either on your own or with a teacher online. No more wondering, indecision or feeling unsure.

 You'll need a Yoga mat, a notebook & pen AND an open heart and mind.

Week One 
  • set your intention for this course and then use this process when you get on your mat, everytime 
  • define a home yoga practise
  • considerations for your home practise - where, when, what you need.
  • ways to practise at home that align with your intention
  • Patanjali's Eightfold Path
  • learn pranayama techniques 
  • pranayama practise (15 mins)
Week Two 
  • Vinyasa yoga class (30 mins)
  • the big picture  - the wave of a vinyasa class.
  • warm ups and variations - the six directions of the spine 
  • creating a balanced sequence to match the amount of time you have 
  • some differences between a morning and evening sequence (including some restorative poses)
  • counter poses
Week Three 
  • the variations of Surya namaskar - "Salutation to the Sun"​
  • how to use sun salutes in your home practise
  • Surya namaskar A (classic Sun Salute) 
  • Surya namaskar - lunge salutes
  • ​understanding the breath - when to inhale and exhale
Week Four
  • Vinyasa class (30 mins)
  • Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II) - basic alignment + family poses
  • when and how to use props effectively in a sequence 
  • how to increase or decrease the intensity of a pose - great for your individual needs

Also included:
PDF sequences for printing - 
a general Vinyasa sequence + an evening sequence + restorative sequence

Delivered over 4 weeks, via Zoom, this online course is perfect for all levels.  
The brand new beginner will learn all the essential tools to practise yoga, while the intermediate yogi will take a deeper dive into pranayama, asana and how a class is put together.
