What is restorative Yoga?
Restorative Yoga is a floor based sequence focussed on undoing the stress we experience in our lives.
It is yoga working for us on a deeper level, with a limited number of poses in each class, long holds to encourage letting go, beautiful music to inspire relaxation, and essential oils to heighten our senses. This gorgeous restorative class will leave you in a blissful state of calm.
Restorative yoga poses - using props like blankets, blocks, bolsters & straps you will feel fully supported and comfortable.
Pranayama (breathing techniques) - learn how to breathe properly using soft belly breaths.
Mindfulness meditation - simple guided meditations that bring you into the present moment.
Essential oils - heighten your senses and deepen your experience (optional).
Soft, inspiring music to deepen your relaxed state.
Eye masks - non scented masks that block the light to assist with calming the body.

▶️ Supports the immune system to prevent sickness.
▶️ Helps to balance the hormones of the body making it great for symptoms of pregnancy, menopause and menstruation.
▶️ Supports healthy spines and injuries related to the back.

▶️ Reduces stress by decreasing the stress hormone, cortisol.
▶️ Supports overall wellbeing and a positive mindset.
▶️ Encourages good sleep and a relaxed physical body.
▶️ Provides balance for the nervous system.
▶️ Brings on a state of calm.
This class is suitable for ALL levels. Men and women can benefit from restorative yoga.
